The Color of Money and Trees
‘The Color of Money and Trees’ explores identity and success in the American West, a region often mythologized for its rugged individualism and pursuit of prosperity. It looks at how personal dreams clash with society’s expectations, making viewers think about who they want to be in a world that values money. By studying wandering as a symbol of freedom and rebellion -or departure from conventional paths- it challenges ideas about ambition and responsibility. Meeting people who don’t follow the norm, it becomes a journey of self-discovery, raising questions on the nature of fulfillment and purpose. By blurring the lines of what’s real and what’s imaginary, it encourages people to explore both outer and inner worlds. This means thinking about who they really are versus what others expect them to be. My first monograph will be published by Void (GR) in 2024. https://void.photo/soon
